Mid-week Bible Study Groups

Small groups are exactly that, a smallish (6–12) group of people from church or those who are want to know more about Christianity who meet in church members' homes weekly to  pray, discuss the bible and develop great friendships. We meet on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 during term time.

We have a number of small groups located in and around the area. All you have to do to join is talk to us! We can put you in touch with the small group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group. Go along and try it out!

Our current Study is:-  Luke
New Hope, New Joy.

The author is Ada Lum.

Luke writes of good news- not only of Jesus' birth but of what he offered to everyone throughout his ministry. To the sick he offered healing; to the hurting, comfort; to the outcast, acceptance. In this study you will discover that this message of hope and joy is for you as well.

Magor Baptist Church Bank Holiday Walkers.

It has become a regular activity on bank Holiday weekends for a group of members and friends to go off into the countryside for a walk.
This is usually arranged by one of our members and deacon 'John Loebl'
The Easter walk took place on Tuesday 18th April.

Usk Vally park 3
In keeping with other church traditions the "John Loebl Walk"
took place on Tuesday 18 April, a distance of 6 miles(ish) from
the Clytha Car Park to Usk. It was a lovely day, walking
and talking along the Usk Valley path. The group totaled 14 in
all, and we were well controlled by John's sheepdog "Blue"!
