Mid-week House Groups

Small groups are exactly that, a smallish (6–12) group of people from church or those who are want to know more about Christianity who meet in homes or in the church weekly to  pray, discuss the bible and develop great friendships. We meet on different days and at times to suit all.

We have a number of small groups located in and around the area. All you have to do to join is talk to us! We can put you in touch with the small group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group. Come along and try it out!

 

 

 

 

Magor Baptist Church Bank Holiday Walkers. 

It has been a fairly regular activity on Bank Holiday weekends for a group of members and friends to go off into the countryside for a walk, usually arranged by one of our members and deacon John Loebl.

Seven miles along the Wye Valley Walk heading back to Tintern - a lovely sunny day with friends in August.

Some 15 walkers plus 2 dogs enjoyed a further stretch of the Usk Valley walk near Raglan on Bank Holiday Monday and avoided the heavy rain in Magor that day!
