Harry and Alice will be taking a well deserved break from July 6th to 15th. Services and Coffee mornings will continue as normal and the reflections will be published by Dave Matthews and Ann Nias. Please contact me for any matters relating to Church business. Also pray for Harry as he recovers from his broken arm.
Growing and sharing in God's love.
A Church for the community
Hello and welcome! Are you new to the church or the area? If so, you are very welcome! Please do check out our
New to Church

MAGOR BAPTIST CHURCH
It is with deep sadness that we inform you that all church services and activities in our church have been suspended in line with Government restrictions. However every Sunday at 11am you can join our live streamed service if you have an internet connection - email firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
For those without internet services you can ring 01633 358328 to hear the previous Sunday sermon.
MAGOR BAPTIST CHURCH – CORONAVIRUS
The Baptist Union have been issuing advice on how to proceed during the current pandemic and we will be following their guidelines. We also have to take into account that we have to comply with the advice given by the Welsh Assembly. It does appear that there will be a phased return to church usage with smaller groups being able to meet first and it may still be some time before we are able to hold normal Sunday services.
When it is appropriate, we will have to carry out a risk assessment on each activity held in the Church to determine when it will safe to resume and the measures that we will need to put in place to enable that to happen. Please bear with us as your safety will always be paramount.
We are blessed that Harry and Alice are working hard to continue Sunday services, coffee mornings, prayer meetings and reflections on a regular basis. All meetings are on Zoom Pro that has added security measures in place to ensure that it is safe to use. These are not only being accessed by our own congregation but also by friends of ours who have moved away and many others around the country and even by Peter Kasozi in Uganda. Sermons have also been available on a telephone link. Sunday club has also continued on a Sunday morning using Zoom and are known as ZOOM CLUB.
During April and May we have incurred significant deficits in our finances due to the reduction in offerings. Davina and Jonathan have achieved significant reductions to our outgoings but, if you do not already do so, I would ask you to consider donating your regular offering by standing order (Davina will supply account details).

During this time that we are not able to hold services at the Chapel
we would encourage you to continue to use your offering envelopes on a weekly basis and place them on one side until we are able to re-commence services.
Alternatively, consider changing to giving by standing order –
please contact Davina or Jonathan for details of the Church account.
