From Mark

Hi friends,

I have a question for you : What do you need to reach your family and friends for Jesus? Here is a similar question : What ‘bridges’ do we need to provide in order to help your friends move from where they are to where the Lord wants to them to be?

These questions come from the last Church Members’ Meeting where I gave a short presentation on Mission and Outreach. You’ll be able to read more of what I shared when the Minutes of that meeting come out. In the meantime, I wanted to raise these questions with you and welcome your thoughtful and prayerful responses as we seek to be a visible representation of the living God in this community.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It has been lovely getting to know some of you during these early months of my ministry here, and I’ve really enjoyed visiting some of you. If you would like me to visit you please let me know (by phone, text, email, or face-to-face) and I’d be happy to arrange that.
First Aid Training
We have some spaces for the emergency one-day first-aid training to be held in the School Room next Saturday April 20th, if anyone is interested.  Please let Bev or Kathy know.
April Communion Offering - Cardiff Baptist College
Cardiff Baptist College is a faith-based formational community that has been preparing women and men for ministry in all spheres of life since 1807. They covenant to ‘walk together’ to develop spiritual maturity, practical skills, and theological vision. They seek to be hospitable, inhabiting the border between church and world to explore Christian faith and practice in a way that is academically rigorous, theologically broad and deep, and relevant to the needs of today. They do that with their church partners in the Baptist Union of Wales, Baptists Together and the Presbyterian Church of Wales, as well as with their academic partners in Cardiff University.
